On the morning of June 22^nd, 2020, the 18^th Meeting of Working Group on Data Sharing, Analysis, Dissemination and Communication of Statistics (WGDSA18) was conducted virtually between the ASEAN Statistics Division (ASEANstats) and the WGDSA of ASEAN Member States (AMSs). The WGDSA of Cambodia’s National Institute of Statistics and the ASEANstats chaired this meeting.

The goals of WGDSA18 are to review and evaluate the annual activities of the WGDSA and to identify the topic, content of motion graphics and infographics for the 10^th Session of the ASEAN Community Statistical System Committee (ACSS10) in Hanoi in October 2020.

The WGDSA18 focused on the following contents: (1) ACSS Infographics and Motion Graphics; (2) ACSS open Data Assessment; (3) ACSS Big Data Concept Notes; (4) ASI-CT updates; (5) Other matters including updates on dissemination policy, plan on concept notes and communication plan, plan on multi-year plan for WGDSA, plan on 2^nd Regional Workshop on Motion Graphics, plan on special dissemination of 2020 Population Census, verifying the WGDSA Focal Point, WGDSA19 schedule and hosting.
